As you advance the throttle, your sleek jet-like aircraft climbs upwards and begins to go through the aerobatic pattern of loops, rolls, immelmans, lomcevaks you are striving to perfect ... OR ... your aircraft could be a "stick wire and fabric" replica of a World War I fighter ... OR .. you guide the long wings of your sailplane to seek out the invisible columns of rising air ... OR ... you can "drop out of the sky" and land your helicopter like a feather right on the landing pad.

Impossible you say? Not for me? WELL WHY NOT! Members of the Warringah Radio Control Society Inc. transform these "flights of fancy" into actual fact every weekend at their flying site.

How? you ask ... in miniature ... anything from a simple flying model with a 1400mm wing span and a tiny engine through to quarter and even one third scale replicas of full size biplanes and World War II fighters ... all directed by remote control via digital proportional radio control ... simple R/C by its disciples.

WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US so you too can experience the pleasure of piloting your chosen model through its "flights of fancy".

New modellers are strongly advised to seek advice before purchasing radio, aircraft kit or motor/engine.

Instruction for beginners is available if you have your own model to fly, FREE OF CHARGEmost weekends (more on Saturdays than Sundays) by fully qualified instructor members of WRCS. You can gain access to the flying field by waiting for a member to let you in.
