There is a short drive along a fire trail to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Warringah+Radio+Control+Society\/@-33.7128079,151.2381131,869m\/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x6b0d55dcf53cc669:0xc81f57c4c35e210!8m2!3d-33.7128079!4d151.2403018\">WRCS Field<\/a>.&nbsp; The gate to the field will be open from 8am and locked each night by 5pm. &nbsp;There is no access to the field for non-members outside these hours, unless they are accompanied by a member with a key.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The WRCS field has a grass strip in an East\/West configuration with a length of 150m.<\/li>\n<li>There is a 600ft&nbsp; height ceiling at the WRCS Field.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have views to the ocean from a bushland setting. There are two large, open sheds each with four tables for model setup and field repairs if required.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">12v charging is available at the field from a series of Anderson plugs. Anderson plugs are available from Jaycar, Repco and Supercheap Auto if you need to make an adaptor. &nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">240v charging is <em><strong>not<\/strong><\/em> available at the field.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chairs are available at the field to enjoy the view and the excellent models that will be on display.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The club will run a BBQ each day from 10:30am-2pm with a range food and of cool drinks available. Please note <strong>cash only no EFTPOS available<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hot water and tea and coffee will be available during the day, including a coffee wagon for the mornings.<\/li>\n<li>A limited number of commemorative shirts will also be available for sale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A live view of the field and current weather conditions can be found on our website homepage <a href=\"https:\/\/wrcs.org.au\/WP1\/home\/\">WRCS.ORG.AU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Accommodation<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>No accommodation or camping <\/strong>is available at the field however there are a range of options available close at hand. The two venues below are close to the WRCS field, provide off-street parking and have facilities for visitors close by.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrmaparksandresorts.com.au\/sydney-lakeside\/\">Narrabeen Lakeside Holiday Park<\/a> \u2013 Located 12k from the WRCS field the Holiday Park offers a range of Cabins, Villas and Caravan\/Camp sites. This is a great location 150m from Narrabeen beach with a range of food options close by. The park is also in walking distance to the B-Line Bus Service offering a direct link to the Sydney City. (Discount are available for NRMA members) Ph &#8211; 02 8417 4133<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Access to the WRCS Field from the Lakeside Holiday Park is via Wakehurst Parkway then turning right onto Morgan Road.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.checkers.com.au\/\">CHECKERS Resort and Conference Centre<\/a> \u2013 Located 5k from the field this facility has motel rooms and facilities. Checkers is close to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/urbantadka.com.au\">Urban Tadka Indian Restaurant<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.terreyhillstavern.com.au\/?utm_source=google_yext&amp;utm_medium=organic&amp;utm_campaign=book-a-table\">Terry Hills Tavern<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.belrosehotel.com.au\">Belrose Hotel<\/a>. All these venues have great food at reasonable prices.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Pilot Safety and WRCS Club Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The safety of our pilots, visitors, spectators and the natural environment are of primary importance to the WRCS Club and members.
